ERAU Day 8

Well nothing especially interesting occured at ERAU aside from this evenings BBQ, which I didn't go to. It sounded like it was fun despite the storm that rolled in during the late afternoon, early evening at Prescott campus. About the only wierd thing was one of the guys in my ES206 class acting like I has the bubonic plague or something. Sure, I know there are some guys who can't stand the idea of a woman being an engineer but this guy acted like I had become his personal nemesis or something. Wierd. I hope the poor boy catches a clue that the day of the good old boys club in the engineering field is coming to end.

Earlier today I was starting to think I was a complete Math idiot since I seem to have so much trouble in MA441, so much so that I was actually considering dropping the course for this semester. Now, after doing the homework, I don't feel like a complete idiot. I guess I'm just rusty with my math, especially differential equations and Laplace transforms. I still don't feel all that confident for tomorrow's quiz but I'll just keep my reviews of Diff Eq and Calc going over the next few weeks to see how things go. Afterall, I do have until October to decide if I should drop the class or not. I really don't want to drop it, but I don't want a bad grade screwing up my GPA either.
