Let it go

Well, I made the mistake today of browsing through AOL's forums out of interest in seeing what other AOL members were discussing regarding Iraq, the Abu Ghraib prison abuse, world politics, economics, etc., and came to a simple conclusion. The vast majority of posters are ignorant, self-centered, and racist. In a number of cases they are all three.

Most disturbing was the instant jump to racism whenever someone had a differing opinion or didn't like something. Especially annoying were the racists (in particular a group of Latino and black racial supremacists) blaming everyone else for their problems and boasting about how "wonderful" the world will be when "they" are "in charge". Pathetic.

People just need to grow up and out of the old world mentality of judging people by the race, gender, or religion. It's stupid and does not accomplish anything but perpetuating violence and hated. Let it go already. Embrace the future.
